I happen to be one of those people who believe you can never have too many books. I happen to favor books over Kindle, but if your gift recipient likes Kindle books, that is a great gift idea too. Wintertime brings many of us ideas about baking and cooking that we might not do at another time during the year. One year I wrote a recipe book for my kids with all the favorite recipes they love along with the stories and memories about those recipes. This was probably one of the best gifts I put together that they have treasured going off to college and cooking in their kitchens.

 

It can be as simple as photographing old written recipes given to you by relatives and going on to Canva and finding a creative way to put them all together. Whatever the format digital or book form, old family recipes bring back memories and create new ones throughout the year.
