Crystal Clear Home Beginnings
My name is Erica Piorkowski, I founded Crystal Clear Home in 2007. I wanted to start a business that would somehow help others. Since I grew up cleaning at my parent’s motel in Niagara Falls, NY and since my natural tendency is toward living green, it was the perfect fit to start an eco-friendly cleaning company.
Looking back I can see the choices and interests that led me to start Crystal Clear Home. I was a single Mom, looking for a way to be able to make a good living and support my twin daughters. A friend of mine, who had been cleaning houses, gave me a couple of homes to clean for her as she was shifting out of being a cleaner. Becoming a house cleaner was a natural transition for me because I was raised in a family who owned a hotel and had cleaned since I was a kid.
I started attracting more clients from the homes I had cleaned and I decided to start an eco-friendly residential and business cleaning service. I value cleaning done well and with products that are kind to our environment, so I started putting together a team to collaborate with and build Crystal Clear Home.
